The Da Vinci Code
We just saw the movie on Friday, and contrary to what seems to be the critical consensus, I thought this was a very good adaptation of Dan Brown's book. Don't be discouraged by the reviews - you should definitely check this out!

Visit from Paul
We had fun this Saturday with Paul English who was in the Bay Area and came over to our place to meet Dani for the first time. It was great to hear about how his company kayak.com is doing and all the media attention he's been getting for gethuman.com.

Congratulations Julie and Nic!
Nic and Julie were blessed with the arrival of their son Alaix Junichiro Busette at 1:39AM on Thursday May 18th. We were wondering which baby would be born first. I guess Alaix wins but we'll be celebrating their birthdays on the same day!

Introducing Danielle Maropeng Molotsi
Our baby girl was born today at 5:22pm. She was 7 lbs 7 oz and 20" long.
She's named Danielle after Michelle's late father Danilo. Her middle name Maropeng means "the place where we once lived" in Sotho and is the name of my mother's eldest sister (also deceased).

We just bought a camcorder...
With the baby due any day now, we bought a camcorder not a moment too soon. We're still figuring out how to use it and create Web-ready clips. Here's our first work...
Kayla's Christening
Last Saturday (May 6th), we attended a party for the christening of Dino and Sherie's baby girl Kayla in San Jose. Check out the photos.
AD4WIFE
Someone at work (I don't know who the owner is) just bought a new 7-series BMW and I found their vanity plate hilarious. Makes you wonder though, what kind of wife is he trying to get? Especially with a "Bangle Butt"!
Which reminds me, I also saw the funniest bumper sticker in the parking lot the other day: "Frodo Failed, Bush Has The Ring!" Then I found this on the web.

Kinky Boots
We just saw Kinky Boots which is one of the best feel good movies I've ever seen. It features my current favorite actor Chiwetel Ejiofor who puts on a brilliant performance as a drag queen. He was also great in Dirty Pretty Things, another movie I highly recommend.

Zozo Visits the Bay Area
Zozo paid us a quick visit this week. She had just come from a medical conference in Utah and stopped by the Bay Area before heading back to Hershey, Pennsylvania. Michelle showed her around San Francisco. We figured if Michelle went into labor, no problem, Zozo could deliver the baby!
Dinner with August, Anand and Connie
On Saturday April 29th, we had dinner with August, Anand, and Connie at Zeni Ethiopian Restaurant in San Jose. It was Michelle's first real taste of Ethiopian cuisine. She liked it - she only wished it came with a bowl of rice! Here's a cute photo of August who really digs the food.
