Transitions

Our beloved father passed away last week. The silver lining in the sadness was our extended family all got together to wish him a fond farwell. It was the first time for me and all of my sisters to be in the same place at one time in over 30 years. Fu Lam Mum Treats

We had dinner at Fu Lam Mum in Mountain View this evening. Here are the happy girls with their take-home treats.

We discovered Varian Park, next to Dani's new school and not too far from the house. The girls enjoyed sliding down the big kids' slide.

San Diego

We spent part of the Labor Day weekend in San Diego. It was a chance to catch up with Tara and the Badals, check out Sea World (we last visited in 2008), and as a really special treat, watch a horse jumping competition courtesy of Scott and Signe.
