I hadn't seen Chikoma Kazunga in over twenty years when I saw him at Mulenga's 40th birthday party in DC (December 2005). Chikoma lives in Dallas and it turned out I was going to be in Dallas on business the first week of January.Chikoma was kind enough to treat me to dinner after a long day before I caught my flight back to the Bay Area. It was great to meet his wonderful family (in the photo is Ethan, Dawn, Chiko, and Isaiah). It so happens Chikoma is quite the chef and I had fun watching him work his magic in the kitchen while we reminisced about the good old days at Libala.
